This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how ParkView Cam Inc. (“ParkView,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you access or use our websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Overview

We respect your privacy. This Policy outlines what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to be transparent and protective of your personal information. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use our Services.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information.

a. Account Information. When you register or create an account, we collect your name (optional), email address, and account credentials. Passwords are hashed and salted.

b. Technical and Usage Information. While ParkView does not currently collect all of the technical data listed below, we reserve the right to do so in the future to improve our services, security, and performance. This may include IP address, device identifiers (including cookies), browser type and version, operating system and screen resolution, referring URLs, clickstream data, app interactions, diagnostic and performance data, log files, and approximate geolocation derived from IP address. We will update this Policy as our data practices evolve.

c. Video Streaming and Recordings. Our Services include real-time video streams from public and private locations. Unless otherwise specified, ParkView does not store recordings. However, when recording is enabled (for example, at private facilities), recordings are accessible for up to 96 hours through our third-party streaming provider. We post visible “Video Recording Active” notices on any stream pages where recording may occur and disclose this practice contractually to our hosting partners.

d. Cookies and Similar Technologies. We may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for authentication, security, analytics, and advertising purposes. Advertising on ParkView is delivered in a non-personalized, contextual manner. We do not use cookies for behavioral profiling or cross-site ad targeting. We honor user opt-out preferences and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where supported. You may adjust cookie preferences through our consent tools or browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

3. How We Use Information

We use your data to provide and operate the Services, maintain and secure accounts, improve performance and user experience, monitor system performance and resolve issues, comply with legal obligations, deliver advertising in accordance with user preferences, and send important service notices, policy updates, and newsletters where you have opted in.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with service providers such as streaming platforms, email processors, cloud hosting providers, and analytics services. We may share anonymized or aggregated information with municipal and private partners. Advertising partners, including Google Ad Manager, may receive limited technical information solely for contextual ad delivery. We may also disclose information to legal authorities if required by law or in connection with mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales.

5. Data Retention

Account information is retained until you request deletion. Aggregated analytics may be retained for internal trend analysis. Streaming recordings, where applicable, are automatically deleted after 96 hours unless otherwise contractually required. Emails and communications are retained for audit and customer support purposes unless deletion is requested.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to access or correct your information, request deletion of your account or personal data, opt out of email marketing, and opt out of cookies or advertising where applicable. You may contact us regarding any data subject requests at privacy@joinparkview.com.
